Philips' star service centre in Chennai

Chennai: Philips India inaugurated the third of its all India chain of service stations called the `Philips Star Service Centre’ in Chennai. The centre follows the recent launch of the first star service centre in New Delhi and Kolkatta.

Addressing a press conference, the Philips India’s Senior Vice-President (Consumer Electronics), Rajeev Karwal, said Philips had conceptualised the star service centre anticipating a substantial growth in market share for high-end products such as plasma TV.

Philips launches new mobile phone

New Delhi: Philips India, on Thursday, announced the launch of a new mobile phone range called `Fisio’ with three models. `Through the Fisio range, we have entered the fast growing mobile phone market in India by designing the phones which are very close to human nature,’ vice-president (consumer electronics) division at Philips India Rajeev Karwal told reporters here. The models launched include Fisio 820, Fisio 620 GRPS and Fisio GSM
